Danielle is a thoughtful, detail-oriented planner with years of hands-on experience organizing travel and events. Her service in the U.S. Navy and background in medical and social work shaped a calm, client-focused approach. From relaxing getaways to more complex itineraries, she wants every traveler to feel confident, supported and excited from the first conversation through the return home.

An East Tennessee native shaped by the Great Smoky Mountains and frequent trips to Nashville, Sarah appreciates journeys that balance cultural immersion and adventure with time to rest. She plans personal vacations, business travel and corporate conferences, bringing experience from both corporate and small-business environments. Her goal is to create travel that feels seamless, meaningful and memorable.

Growing up in East Tennessee, Mallory developed a love for mountains, beautiful destinations and time shared with family and friends. She enjoys planning trips that blend adventure, relaxation and local culture—from scenic escapes to tropical stays and energetic city breaks. Her warm approach and attention to detail help clients enjoy a journey that feels effortless to plan and personal to experience.

Sierra is a travel architect and lifestyle photographer with a love for thoughtful details, creative planning and a little everyday whimsy. When she isn’t traveling or behind the camera, she’s likely immersed in a fantasy novel or trying her hand at a new craft. A self-described romanticizer of life, Sierra enjoys creating trips that feel personal, memorable and tailored to the people taking them. She believes life is too short not to make an adventure out of it and brings that spirit to every journey she helps plan.

From the Everglades to the Blue Ridge Mountains, every place Courtney has called home has reinforced the same lesson: there is always something new to discover when you stay curious. That curiosity has shaped more than 15 years of work in marketing, strategic partnerships and bringing products and experiences to market. She is happiest exploring places beyond the usual guidebook and creating opportunities for people to connect, learn and see the world from a new perspective.

After trading Los Angeles for New York City, Jazmin has embraced a new chapter filled with unfamiliar neighborhoods, spontaneous adventures and stories waiting to be told. Storytelling connects her work in marketing and acting, whether she is shaping a campaign, building a character or starting a good conversation. She brings curiosity, creativity and a genuine interest in people to the Destinations & Detours brand.

Director of Digital Experience & Strategy
Originally from the Bay Area, Alec brings together creativity, technology, and strategy to build meaningful digital experiences. With a background in marketing, UX design, and digital growth, he loves finding new ways to connect people through storytelling and design. Outside of work, he's a huge travel enthusiast who can often be found exploring somewhere in California or planning his next international adventure. His current goal? Check 30 countries off his travel list!

Kim Tran
Project Manager
Kim was born in Vietnam and lived in Texas and Louisiana before putting down roots in Southern California. Those early moves sparked a deep curiosity that she still carries with her today, whether she's planning her next trip or taking on a new project. As a project manager, she loves working with others to untangle complex processes and information, turning them into simpler, more efficient systems.
Sara Peters
DIRECTOR OF SPONSORSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS
With more than 20 years of experience in education and strategic partnerships, Sara brings the same energy and curiosity to her work that fuels her adventures outside of it. She lives in Newport, Rhode Island, with her partner, Adrian, where beach days, year-round cold plunges, and runs with local running groups are part of everyday life. An avid runner and member of a Rhode Island running team, she’s now training for her first sprint triathlon and learning to embrace the swim. Between travels and adventures with her dog, Sara also serves on the board of the Newport Public Education Foundation, supporting grants for local public schools and staying connected to the community she loves.
Joseph Espinoza
EVENT COORDINATOR
Joseph Espinoza is an event professional with experience supporting meetings, conferences, and large scale events from planning through onsite execution. His background includes event logistics, venue and vendor coordination, attendee experience, registration, housing, food and beverage, and accessibility. Joseph enjoys creating welcoming, well organized experiences and is at his best when bringing people, details, and logistics together to make an event feel seamless for everyone involved.

MANAGER OF COMPANY VIBES
Mallard is a curious, high-energy German Shorthair Pointer and chocolate Lab mix who brings enthusiasm wherever he goes. When he is not bird-watching or chasing his next “hunt,” he specializes in quick cuddles, carrots, apples and reminding the team to keep things playful.
